Summary
Gearheart is a free puzzle game supported by ads. It has no account and never asks for your name, e-mail, contacts or location. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, and anonymous gameplay statistics and crash reports are collected through Google Firebase. Personalized ads and the use of your device's advertising identifier happen only after you agree in the consent prompt (and, on iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt).
Data stored on your device
Stars per stage, hint tokens, tutorial progress and settings are saved only on your device. They are not transmitted to us. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows rewarded ads (when you choose to watch one for a hint) and interstitial ads between stages. Google AdMob may collect the device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, device and app information and ad interactions to deliver, measure and — only with your consent — personalize ads. If you do not consent, you still receive non-personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time from the in-game menu (Privacy settings), in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, or in Android Settings › Google › Ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland) and tracking permission
Where required by law, the game shows Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before requesting personalized ads. On iOS, the system App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether ads may use your advertising identifier. Declining either one does not limit gameplay.
Gameplay statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)
To balance puzzle difficulty and fix bugs, the app sends events such as app start, tutorial progress, stage started/cleared/failed (with number of attempts, hint use, stars and failure reason), hint use and ad impressions, together with app version, device model, OS version and language. Firebase assigns a random app-instance identifier. Crashlytics sends crash reports (stack trace and device state). Remote Config downloads game settings such as ad frequency. Google processes this data under the Firebase privacy information. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted.
| Data | Purpose | Processor |

| Crash stack traces, device state | Fixing bugs | Firebase Crashlytics |
Children
Gearheart is a logic puzzle intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can request access to or deletion of data associated with your app-instance identifier, and withdraw consent at any time as described above. Deleting the app stops all collection.
